'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through The Bwack's house
Just one creature was stirring, in search of a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that that package from Amazon with a non-exploding hoverboard soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of BB-8 the Robot danced in their heads;
The Bwack leaned back and put on his cap,
Shut his eyes, and settled in for a long winter's nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
He sprang from the couch to see what was the matter.
He saw through the window a bright yellow flash,
The automatic lawnmower that Bwack built had just come unlatched.
Sparks started to fly, as it strolled through the yard,
And turned his illuminated steel reindeer that he got at Lowes on sale for $19.98 into a heap of shards.
When what to his wondering ears did arise,
But a massive red blinking sleigh screaming a sound shrill and high,
With a little old driver so lively but slow,
He knew in a moment it must be firemen from his town of Waco.
More rapid than eagles they put out the blaze,
They whistled, and shouted, and gave themselves praise:
"Good job, fellas, now lets go back home!"
And The Bwack returned to the couch all alone.
The excitement was over and now he could sleep,
He started a fire and dreamed so deep.
And from his den, eyes shut in glee,
He thought of nice things to tell you and me:
"I hope your families are joyful and merry
And all of your beards are bushy and hairy."
While the hours strolled by The Bwack wished that he might
Wish all of you the merriest Christmas tonight!
Merry Christmas! -TDA
